Neatha

This is a guest post written by a friend of Neatha's who wishes to remain anonymous.

Neatha found out she was pregnant in January 2009. It turned her world upside down because it wasn't planned and it wasn't by a guy she planned to spend the rest of her life with. During the length of her pregnancy, she tried to balance college, work, and trying to hold her relationship together. Oct 20th came, and God blessed her with a beautiful, healthy baby boy and her world changed forever. She is a full time college student and works part time, barely bringing in enough to pay bills and diapers. Her boyfriend finally got a job and she is hoping he will start helping. She is facing the possibility of losing her student aid because she was forced to drop some of her classes because of her pregnancy, and, without it, she will no longer be able to go to college. She feels so alone in her walk and keeps it all bottled in because she has nobody she talks to, but she keeps going for the sake of her son. Please stop by her blog and give her encouragement. It would mean so much to her.

Ruth

This is a guest post written by Melissa. She wanted us to take the time to be a blessing to her friend.
Her name means "friend".

She is Ruth.

She is my friend who has been diagnosed with MS. What does MS mean? For Ruth it means no feeling from her waist down. It means giving herself injections three times a week. It meant spending last Christmas in the hospital waiting on doctors and tests. It means so much more.

Unless we've been down that road ourselves, I don't think we can fully understand all that it means to be facing a life with MS.

But we can walk beside those who are on that road. We can encourage and be a friend.

Won't you stop by and share an encouraging word with Ruth? Who knows, you may just find a new "friend"!

Please go to Ruth's blog and leave her some encouraging words.

Nicole

This is a guest post written by Wendy. She nominated Nicole to be featured.

We've all been through trying times. It seems as though sometimes we can't catch a break. During those times, we know how important it is to feel that people truly are concerned about us. When I read Nicole's updates, my heart aches for her. She's going through some really hard times right now. As she walks through the journey of loosing a child, she begins a journey of separation from her husband, her baby's father. I can't imagine loosing two of the most important people in my life in such a short period of time. Her faith is being tested, and although she is passing that test, I'm sure she could use some encouragement along the path. Please stop by and let her know that she's not walking alone, that we will help carry the weight through our thoughts and encouragement.

Nicole just recently had a birthday, and with the holidays now here, she must feel her loss even greater. Please, visit her blog and share some encouragement with her.
